Derry leads Aon\u2019s Global Asset Allocation Team, which is responsible for Aon Wealth\u2019s investment strategy and economic views, including asset class research, capital market assumptions, and shorter-term tactical ideas.<\/p>\n
Derry has worked in finance for 25 years. He joined Aon in 2017. Prior to that he was at a South African fund manager for 6 years, where he was co-Head of Asset Allocation, and 8 years as Chief Economist at a multiple Euro-hedge award winning hedge fund manager, where he helped grow assets under management from $3bn to $15bn.<\/p>\n
Derry did his undergraduate studies in economics at Cambridge University where he graduated in the top 5% of his year.
