Anastasia is the Head of Investment Consulting and leads Aon’s advice services for a number of clients in the region on general investment related matters.
Anastasia has 30 years of total consulting experience. She joined Aon from the BNP Paribas structuring team in London where she assisted clients to develop derivative based risk-mitigating investment strategies for their funds. Her main countries of focus where the UK, Ireland, Italy, Netherlands and Sweden. Prior to that she was a senior investment consultant at PSolve Consultants advising pension schemes on all aspects of their investment arrangements, including setting innovative risk management strategies and selecting specialist fund managers, utilizing interest rate swaps and equity derivatives to efficiently protect client portfolios. She was also responsible for the research into alternative asset classes. She was previously with the UK Financial Conducts Authority (FCA) in London in the Risk Assessment Division where she led projects analysing systemic risks in insurance and financial firms. She also worked for the UK Government Actuary’s Department where she was involved in social security work for governments around the world (including Cyprus and the Middle East) as well as pensions-related work for local UK authorities. She served as a Non-Executive Member of the Board of the Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission (CySec) from 2016-2021.
Anastasia specializes in providing consulting services to many of Aon’s clients; including development of investment strategies and policies, plan designs and providing assistance in overall investment governance.
