Pantelis graduated from the London School of Economics and Political Science with a BSc (First Class Hons) in Actuarial Science in 1999. He is a Fellow of the UK Actuarial Profession since 2006.
After graduating, he gained valuable pensions experience within the UK Marketplace with the UK Government Actuary’s Department where he worked initially as an actuarial assistant and finally as a Senior Actuary. In 2006 he moved to Towers Perrin (now Willis Towers Watson) in their London office, where he worked as a senior consultant for the international consulting team advising global multinationals and corporates in relation to the funding and accounting implications of retirement plan provision.
Pantelis joined Aon in their Cyprus office in 2008 initially as a Senior Consultant and now as an Associate Partner. He specializes in providing advice to governmental organisations and social and health insurance organizations in relation to their funding, financial sustainability and reform needs.
He has successfully project managed and delivered as part of Aon teams a number of projects in Qatar, Bahrain, Oman, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Cyprus and Greece. He is also the consulting and scheme actuary for a number of multinational and local premier companies as well as pension institutions in Cyprus, Egypt, the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Qatar, Oman and other Middle East countries.
He has consulted his clients on the full range of actuarial service including actuarial valuations for accounting, funding, M&A and transfer purposes.
